Within the whimsical surrounds of Can Can Wonderland in St. Paul, Minn., Superorganism perform a MicroShow for The Current before an all-ages audience.

On Monday, Aug. 6, a select group of The Current's listeners were treated to a #MicroShow with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, who performed at the Turf Club (capacity 350) in St. Paul. The band's generous set includes seven songs from their latest release, 'Tearing at the Seams,' plus a favorite from their breakout self-titled album from 2015.

The set list includes five songs from Tune-Yards' latest album, 'I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life,' plus a favorite off 2014's 'Nikki Nack.'

On Dec. 11, 2017, a select group of The Current's listeners were treated to a #MicroShow with Britt Daniel and Alex Fischel of Spoon, who performed at the Turf Club in St. Paul. The set list includes a number of songs from Spoon's latest album, 'Hot Thoughts,' as well as selections from 2014's 'They Want My Soul' and 2005's 'Gimme Fiction.'

Performing a MicroShow in Minneapolis carried with it a bit of history for the legendary New Orleans jazz outfit. 'The first time that the Preservation Hall Jazz Band ever played a show outside of New Orleans was here in Minneapolis in 1963,' bandleader and bassist Ben Jaffe told the audience before the group launched into a grooving, journeying three-number set.

On Sept. 23, 2017, a select group of The Current's listeners were treated to a #MicroShow with Josh Ritter, who performed at the Clown Lounge within the Turf Club in St. Paul. Ritter performed a number of songs from his latest album, 'Gathering,' which was released just one day before this MicroShow was recorded.
