When Bully visited The Current studio, frontperson Alicia Bognanno took some time to talk about what she calls her 'Frankenstein' guitar, 'and by that,' Bognanno explains, 'I mean it's just a bunch of different parts put together.' It's a hard-working guitar Bognanno loves; she plays most of Bully's shows using it and has written the band's two albums on it.

When Angelica Garcia visited The Current for a recent in-studio session, she performed three songs, using different instrumentation for each. After the session, Garcia took some time to tell us about the guitar she used when performing her single, 'Orange Flower.'

When Louisville, Ky., rock band White Reaper visited us in studio recently, the guitar being used by the band's Hunter Thompson stirred a lot of curiosity. After the session, Thompson was enthusiastic to talk to us about his vintage Baldwin guitar, which he considers quite a find.

Hurray for the Riff Raff's Alynda Segarra plays a beautiful, golden archtop guitar. After the band's in-studio session, Segarra took some time to tell us about the instrument. The exact make and model remains a bit of a mystery.

Lindsey Troy of the band Deap Vally describes the guitar that helps define the band's sound. 'It's super old, and it has a lot of character,' Troy says about her Fender Mustang.

Guthbjorg Tomasdottir of the duo My Bubba recently took some time to tell us about her vintage, Danish-built guitar. 'I was bicycling in Copenhagen and I saw this guitar in the window, and it just spoke to me,' she says. It's the latest addition to The Current's Guitar Collection.
