On the last episode of the Chart Show for 2024, Father John Misty goes to No. 1 with “Screamland,” and then enters the Chart Show Hall of Fame after 10 weeks of listener votes. But Father John Misty (aka Josh Tillman) isn’t the only artist seeing a new song induction this week; also entering the Chart Show Hall of Fame this week after 10 weeks of listeners’ votes are: Billy Strings with his bluegrass inflected “Gild The Lily”; Gigi Perez with her massively popular ballad “Sailor Song”; and Hozier with the punchy and percussive “Nobody’s Soldier.” With the Top 89 of 2024 less than a week away, the Chart Show Hall of Fame can provide a bit of a forecast as to which songs may land in this year’s countdown.

Meanwhile, Waxahatchee’s “Much Ado About Nothing” climbs five spaces to No. 2, and new songs from Ezra Collective (“God Gave Me Feet For Dancing” feat. Yazmin Lacey), Faye Webster (“After The First Kiss”), Soccer Mommy (“Driver”) and Brigitte Calls Me Baby (“Too Easy”) all make Chart Show debuts.
