Rolling Stone recently released its list of 101 Greatest Soundtracks of All Time, and it got us thinking about some of our favorite songs that have been attached to movies. Music can enhance the experience of a film, and sometimes a killer soundtrack is exactly what you need to get in the spirit of cinema.
There have even been times when a soundtrack has become more successful than the film it represents. Some have even gone on to symbolize a certain genre or period of time (Looking at you, Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from 1992). Let’s celebrate our favorite soundtracks by putting together a one-of-a-kind playlist!
