Sunday, Sept. 22, marked the Autumnal Equinox, which means the season has changed and it is officially fall! According to Britannica, an equinox happens when the sun is directly over the celestial equator, which makes day and night the same length. In the Northern Hemisphere, the Autumnal Equinox occurs around Sept. 22, while the Southern Hemisphere celebrates the equinox in March.
