Superstitions are sometimes regarded as something silly or fun, but they are often taken very seriously. Some are even done out of habit or are taught to small children through songs or rhymes. How often have you picked up a penny and knew you would have good luck?

Whether knocking on wood, trying not to shatter a mirror, jumping over cracks, or taking a long way around to avoid that wayward ladder, superstitions have become ingrained in modern culture, and today is the perfect day to celebrate. On this Friday the 13th, let’s get superstitious with music!

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs that mention or reference superstitions would you like to hear?
