According to the folks at NationalDayCalendar.com, July 30 is National Climb a Mountain Day.

But National Climb a Mountain Day isn’t what you think. It’s not about literally climbing a mountain, but rather it’s about getting past the obstacles in our lives that keep us from reaching our peak. National Climb a Mountain Day embraces the associated attributes of mountaineering — perseverance, overcoming fear, goal-setting, adjusting to conditions, and visualizing success — that are at the heart of what the day is about: Reaching for what’s possible in our lives.

It's a cool aspiration, and one that could use a motivating soundtrack. Let’s turn the metaphor back around with songs that make reference to mountains.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs that mention mountains, hills, summits, peaks or climbing do you want to hear?
