Each year, renowned artists come to the city of Winona to participate in the Minnesota Beethoven Festival. Concerts are held at venues across the city over three weeks, and there’s still time to see the world-class musicians in action. The events run through this Sunday, July 21, when the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra will close out this year’s festivities.

From YourClassical: Listen: Steven Isserlis and Connie Shih perform at the Minnesota Beethoven Festival

The festival even made it to the list of Birge’s Picks at our sister station, YourClassical MPR! Let’s join in on the fun (and put a The Current Morning Show twist on it) with music!

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs featuring strings or an element of classical music would you like to hear?
