If you’ve been anywhere lately, then odds are you already know that the latest installment of Pixar’s Inside Out series was recently released to an eager audience. The movie shows our main character Riley getting older and navigating the changes that come when entering the teenage years. To help with the transition, reliable emotions Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and Sadness are joined by the more complex Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment … with little bit of Nostalgia thrown in along the way.

Inside Out 2 has quickly become the highest grossing film of the year and collected 100 million dollars in ticket sales last weekend. The film got us thinking about our own emotions and about how it would make us *feel* joy to celebrate them with music.
