There’s been a familiar theme in the forecasts lately, and that theme has been precipitation. According to Updraft from MPR NewsJune is the wettest month of the year in the North Star State, and the weather sure is having an effect on our bodies of water.

Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but our eyes are also on the rivers which are expected to crest at near (or exceed) record levels this week. Let’s turn our attention to our mighty waterways with music.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs about rivers would you like to hear?
