Earlier this morning, we aired a studio session with Jaime Wyatt, whose new album, Feel Good, was produced by Adrian Quesada of Black Pumas.

The music industry is rife with different types of producers: some guide the process; some direct the session; some have a signature sound; some have the music chops; some just provide the vibe ... and then there's Rick Rubin, one of the most sought-after super producers who can hardly play a lick on an instrument yet has a golden ear. Today, we’re focusing on one subset of music producer; specifically, those like Adrian Quesada who are recording artists in their own right in addition to being record producers.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that were produced by record producers who are active recording and touring musicians themselves?
