The Chart Show: "Afraid of Heights" climbs to the top
January 11, 2024
This week on the Chart Show, Boygenius’ “Afraid of Heights” climbs to the top of the chart — and enters the Chart Show Hall of Fame. Also joining the Chart Show Hall of Fame after 10 weeks of voting are Sleater-Kinney with “Hell,” and newcomer Raye, who gets her first Chart Show Hall of Fame induction with the single, “Worth It.”
Making Chart Show debuts this week is a new, original song called “Nothing Compares to You” by New Orleans artist Britti, and a fresh collaboration between Icelandic artist Björk and Spanish artist Rosalía resulting in a new single called “Oral.”
Visit the Chart Show ballot to vote for your favorite new songs on The Current this week, including Cold War Kids’ “Run Away With Me” and Canadian artist TALK’s latest, “A Little Bit Happy.” When you vote, you’ll be entered for a chance to win tickets to The Kills at First Avenue in Minneapolis on Monday, February 12.
Heads up, Chart Show Voters — as you can see, The Current has a fresh, new website. To vote on your top tracks of the week, you’ll need to create an account to use the ballot below.
Then be sure to listen to the Chart Show on Thursday at noon!
