Coffee Break: gratitude, gladness and appreciation
by Jill Riley
January 11, 2024
January 11 is International Thank You Day, designated as a day to remind us to express our gratitude to those who have made our lives better in some way.
There are many ways we can say thank you, from something as simple as a word of gratitude to a written thank-you note. Many people have adopted keeping a gratitude journal as a way of mindfulness, meditation, even stress reduction. And there seems to be a movement afoot — we’ve noticed this with a lot of New Year resolutions — where people want simply to be more appreciative of the people, places and things that make up their lives.
So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs that express gratitude, gladness and appreciation do you want to hear?
