Today is the 80th birthday of Rolling Stones guitarist and songwriter Keith Richards. As The Current’s senior digital producer Reed Fischer puts it, Richards “has been a poster boy for living fast and not dying young.”

Whether Keith Richards has lucky genes, a sturdy metabolism, has made some better choices in recent years — or perhaps is a vampire — living to age 80 is a notable achievement for anyone, be they a globally recognized musician or not. With that in mind, in honor of Keith Richards and others his age and up, we’re going to celebrate longevity today.

For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs about longevity would you like to hear?
