Deer Tick shine at the Fine Line

On Wednesday night, the Fine Line was filled with energy and excitement leading up to an anticipated performance by American rock-folk band Deer Tick. Country singer-songwriter Abby Hamilton opened for the night with a band that shook the crowd — in the best way possible. As the band played, you felt the kick drum in your chest, and the bassist’s booming tone everywhere else. When paired with Hamilton’s strong vocals and talented lead guitarist, it was a recipe for a solid performance leaving the audience ready for what was to come.
During the intermission between acts, you could feel the anticipation of the crowd growing more potent by the minute. Long time fans boasted about how many times they had seen the band live, making those who recently discovered the band hardly contain their excitement. When Deer Tick took the stage, the venue erupted in cheers and the band welcomed their praise with warm smiles. Throughout the night, the band captivated the crowd with an electric performance filled with guitar solos, movement on stage and implementation of an upright bass.
