Coffee Break: Twin Cities Marathon
by Jill Riley
September 28, 2023
On Sunday, The annual Twin Cities Marathon will take place — starting in Minneapolis and finishing in St. Paul. More than 20,000 people are registered to run this weekend, including runners from across the country and the world.
However, the marathon will be taking place during what is projected to be extreme heat and humidity, possibly making this race the hottest installment of the Twin Cities Marathon to date.
Despite the heat, let’s help the runners keep a cool head and support them by naming some songs to get them in the zone as they prepare for the marathon on Sunday. Can’t think of anything? Songs about running and marathons also suffice.
For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs that show support to the marathon runners do you want to hear?
