The Tallest Man on Earth brought an enthusiastic show the Palace Theatre on Tuesday night, dancing and smiling almost all night long. Singer-songwriter Andrea von Kampen — from Lincoln, Nebraska — opened up with sweetly soft vocals that were well paired with her powerful and proficient guitar playing.

As the lights dimmed, there was an anticipative energy in the air, as if the whole crowd were trying to figure out how the Tallest Man on Earth’s set would begin. After only a few minutes, Kristian Matsson bounded onto the stage with such electricity that the crowd was taken by surprise. The night was filled with Mattson’s energetic dancing, and he was supported by a band of great musicians.
