Coffee Break: Songs to celebrate Pride Month
by Jill Riley
June 02, 2023
June has arrived, and so it’s officially Pride Month. While Twin Cities Pride Weekend is still a few weeks away, there’s a ton of activity already happening.
To kick off the first weekend of Pride Month, we want to play some music that supports, celebrates, and champions the LGBTQ+ community. Let’s enter this weekend with Pride on our minds and in our hearts with songs about rights, love, and allyship.
For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs by members of the LGBTQ+ community should we play?
