The Current’s annual Rock the Cradle event for kids and their grownups to explore music, art and culture returned Sunday, March 12, to the Minneapolis Institute of Art and Children’s Theatre Company. More than 8,000 people attended the free event.
In addition to annual favorites such as the Kids’ Disco, and YourClassical Storytime, there were DJ sets from a Current DJ, K-Pop Performances and Choreography Lessons with Cypher Side Dance School, pop-up performances from the team at Brains On!, and live music from Koo Koo Kanga Roo, TaikoArts Midwest’s Taiko Group ‘Enso Daiko’, the band She’s Burgers, and more.
