Today marks the beginning of Women’s History Month. This is a time to commemorate and encourage the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. That includes women in music! Let’s honor all the women throughout history that helped shape the world of music.
This week, we’re putting the focus on the pioneers of Rock n’ Roll. Legendary rock artists like Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Wanda Jackson, Chrissie Hynde, and Tina Turner helped pave the way for future icons in the industry.
