The Current’s Emerging Artists Showcases bring together community curators to uplift up-and-coming songwriters and performers from across the region.
Hosted by The Duluth Local Show host Brittany Lind, along with curators David Huckfelt and Khayman Goodsky, the inaugural event took place at Duluth’s Sacred Heart Music Center on December 3rd, 2022.
This showcase included stunning performances from Minneapolis-based Laura Hugo (Diné [Navajo]) and the Oshkii Giizhik Singers (Fond du Lac Anishinaabe) from Cloquet, Minnesota.
