The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicked off yesterday in Qatar, with Ecuador winning over Qatar in the opening match of group play. This morning, England is playing against Iran. Team USA returns to the World Cup after missing out in 2018 and will play Wales today at 1pm. The tournament will continue until December 18. The World Cup is the single biggest tournament for the biggest sport on the planet. This year’s edition is no exception, regardless of ongoing criticism surrounding the host country.
