Lizzo is performing tonight at the Xcel Energy Center! The Special Tour is Lizzo’s first ever arena tour. St. Paul is only the ninth stop, but the tour has already received positive reviews. Her show at Madison Square Garden was described as “part variety show spectacle, part megachurch empowerment retreat” in a review from Consequence. As she returns to the Twin Cities, the place she called home for seven years, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the impact she made on the local music scene and onward.
