Ohio indie-rock stars the National performed a set celebrating their deep catalog on Wednesday evening at Surly Festival Field. In addition to well-loved past gems like “Fake Empire” and “Don’t Swallow the Cap,” they played recent single “Weird Goodbyes” — which is part of a forthcoming album.
Australian singer-songwriter Indigo Sparke opened up and joined the National to perform “Rylan.”
