This week, there are three big events happening in Minneapolis to honor hometown hero Prince. On Thursday, it’s a Crown Our Prince block party to celebrate the unveiling of a new Prince mural in downtown Minneapolis, painted by artist Hiero Veiga.

And over at Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Celebration makes its return to the first weekend in June, just as it was when Prince planned it himself in the early 2000s. Guests can anticipate world-class music, celebrity panels, and a chance to explore Prince’s creative space at Paisley Park.

Then on Saturday at Phyllis Wheatley Field in North Minneapolis, The Purple Day will celebrate Prince’s legacy with a community celebration featuring food, fashion and live music by Maria Isa, BDotCroc and more.
