On Sunday during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony — that is, the portion of the Grammy Awards that is not televised and during which the majority of Grammys are presented — Jack Antonoff took home the award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. 

Antonoff is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who first took the world by storm when he and his band Fun, together with Janelle Monáe, released the single "We Are Young," reaching number one in several countries and winning a Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 2013. Antonoff continues to work with Fun, and he's also the lead singer of the band Bleachers.

But in addition to his own musical output, Antonoff is perhaps best known as a gifted record producer, having worked with such artists as Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Tegan and Sara, St. Vincent, Carly Rae Jepsen, Clairo and many others. Working with so many artists, Antonoff's creativity is helping to influence and shape the sound of contemporary pop music. It's no wonder the Recording Academy recognized Antonoff for his producing talents with the Producer of the Year, Non-Classical award.
