The Best New Bands of 2021 Showcase returns to First Avenue for the first time since January 2020. Co-presented by The Current, Radio K and 93X, this concert features some of the best emerging acts from Minnesota, and this year's lineup includes Durry, Evv, Honeybutter, Kokou Kah, Lanue, Papa Mbye, and VIAL (find more about all these bands in this feature from the Local Current team). Diane, host of The Local Show on The Current, is one of the evening's emcees.

This show has been a long time coming — and let's not forget it was originally scheduled for January 7 of this year until omicron ended up pushing it out until tonight.
