It’s Halloween week here on The Current, and each day this week the Coffee Break will have a different spooky theme. You can get in on the fun by sharing pictures of your pets in costumes here!
So far this week we've tackled witches, ghosts, goths and fear. And now it’s time for our spookiest topic yet.
For today's Coffee Break, what BLOOD SONGS do you want to hear?
Respond with your song ideas in the comments below.
If you're looking for more spooky content this week, our Rock the Cradle Radio stream is playing nothing but Halloween music. Friday at noon, it’s Spooky 90s with Tonal Recall, and Saturday morning, it’s a ghostly Teenage Kicks. Saturday night, Sean McPherson takes your chilling requests on Radio Free Current, and if you're out and about (and 21 or older), you can join The Current at O’Shaughnessy Distilling Co. for the Hallowhiskey Halloween party, hosted by Jade. The spine-tingling tunes continue on Sunday as you wake up to the spookier side of The Current with United States of Americana, and end your weekend with some frightening Minnesota music on The Local Show at 6 p.m.
