Never take Ronnie Wood for granted. I just watched a new documentary, Somebody Up There Likes Me, all about Ron Wood — of the Rolling Stones, the Faces, the Byrd, of every band in the world. And not only is Ronnie Wood a great musician, he's a great painter, too. In fact, I could have watched an entire documentary just about his artwork.

This documentary is set up just like a conversation; it isn't super traditional in the way that there's a ton of talking heads, but the ones that there are — like Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Rod Stewart — are relaxed. They're not putting on a persona of any kind.

It's a really interesting look at Woody's life and the roles he's played in some of my favorite bands. Ronnie Wood: Somebody Up There Likes Me is available for streaming in virtual cinema at ronniewoodmovie.com.
