Maybe you think there's not a whole lot to learn about ZZ Top; it's like, "We've got your beards, we got your furry guitars" and there's that car. But there's a lot more to ZZ Top.
Directed by Sam Dunn and produced by Banger Films, ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band From Texas tells the story of how three oddball teenage bluesmen — Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard — became one of the biggest, most beloved bands on the planet.
Some of the talking heads in the film include Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, and actor Billy Bob Thornton. The film is super cool, super interesting, and one of my favorite stories from the film is how ZZ Top first stumbled upon MTV — thinking it was a really long music special — only to become MTV superstars.
ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band From Texas is available on Netflix.
