Angel Olsen performs songs from 'All Mirrors' in The Current studio

"It was a hard record to make," Angel Olsen says about the work she poured into All Mirrors. But the hard work has paid off in an album filled with soaring vocals and lush instrumental arrangements.
Before playing a show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Angel Olsen and her band stopped at The Current studio to play songs from All Mirrors and to talk with host Mary Lucia.
As to the lyrics of her songs, Olsen says, "I always keep things pretty vague; nothing's too specific.
"It also protects me to know that people will just take what they want from music, they'll just take what they from the writing of my music," Olsen continues. "So I don't feel as exposed in a way."
