This week, I watched a documentary called David Crosby: Remember My Name. Full disclosure, you know I'm somewhat obsessed with the music of the East Coast, and the West Coast music maybe just kind of slipped through the cracks for me. As a result, this film was really informative and a lot for me to absorb.
This entire documentary, which was produced by Cameron Crowe and directed by A.J. Eaton, is an exploration of Crosby's mortality; even Crosby says, "Time right now is the most important currency in my life."
The film releases Friday, Aug. 2. In Minneapolis, the film screens at Landmark's Uptown Theatre. You can hear more of my thoughts about this film by watching the video above.
