From Babes in Toyland to Soul Asylum and Superchunk, some of the most iconic artists of the past three decades have recorded at Pachyderm Studio. Situated in the rural town of Cannon Falls, Pachyderm has hosted local and globally based artists since opening in 1988.

Many fans know that Nirvana recorded their 1993 album In Utero at Pachyderm Studio, or that PJ Harvey visited the studio to record Rid of Me. But did you know that Pachyderm is also where Hippo Campus laid down their first full-length album Landmark — and where Andrew Bird recorded parts of Armchair Apocrypha?
