This week, Mary Lucia is joined by The Current's Assistant Program Director, Lindsay Kimball, to talk about what you'll hear on The Current on Friday, March 8: International Women's Day.

The entire day is presented by the women of The Current. Throughout the day, you'll hear music exclusively by women-identifying artists and women-fronted bands. Plus, we'll also feature special guests along with encores of great in-studio sessions (like Adele's very first visit to The Current!) and other special features, like a rebroadcast of Brandi Carlile in concert at the State Theatre in Minneapolis.
