This week's schedule

As the holidays set in, most shows are on hiatus and some are even pre-empted by holiday programming. With that being the case, expect encore presentations this week and into next — a kind of re-gifting of recent performances.

Notable reruns this week include an encore of boygenius's first late-night appearance, which re-airs this Wednesday on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Friday features a rerun of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with Dolly Parton performing an original song from the Dumplin' soundtrack. Then on Saturday, Dec. 29, Saturday Night Live encores its episode from Nov. 3, which featured Maggie Rogers as the musical guest just days after she stopped at The Current for a session hosted by Mary Lucia. On PBS, Austin City Limits brings back its 2016 performance by Iggy Pop.
