This week's schedule
It's another busy week of new musical performances, with appearances by Grimes, Phoebe Bridgers, Lukas Graham, Smashing Pumpkins, Lucy Dacus, Jungle, Lenny Kravitz and Kurt Vile. Also watch for GØGGS, a band featuring Ty Segall and his collaborators. And because we're in mid-December, look for holiday music from the likes of Gwen Stefani, Ingrid Michaelson and the great Darlene Love.
The week rounds out with a performance by JD McPherson on CBS This Morning's Saturday Sessions, a program that typically features three songs by its guest artists.
A notable rerun this week happens Friday on The Late Late Show with James Corden, when that program re-airs Morrissey's excellent cover of The Pretenders' "Back on the Chain Gang."
