Listen to Brandi Carlile live in concert on Friday, Nov. 30
November 28, 2018
Brandi Carlile is a popular artist in Minnesota — so much so, that the singer-songwriter booked three back-to-back-to-back concerts at the State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis, spanning November 29 to December 1. These shows are not part of a larger tour; it's simply Carlile connecting with a deeply loyal audience.
Further extending Carlile's reach, The Current is delighted to bring you a live radio broadcast of Carlile's concert at the State Theatre on Friday, Nov. 30. Hosted by Mark Wheat, this broadcast will begin at 8:30 p.m. Central, with the concert beginning some time not too long thereafter.
For those who live in Minnesota, you can listen to The Current on one of our many FM signals throughout the state. Beyond our radio broadcast range, you can listen using your smart speakers, our internet stream, or using our free smartphone app for iOS and Android.
Carlile has been taking audiences by storm for years now, and the release of her latest album, By The Way, I Forgive You, has only brought her further to the fore. In September, she brought down the Ryman Auditorium with her performance of "The Joke" at the Americana Music Association's 2018 Honors and Awards Program, and she's also introduced herself to new fans through many notable performances on late-night television programs like Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC), The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS) and Austin City Limits (PBS).
