Lena Elizabeth performs at Radio Heartland

Lena Elizabeth is just releasing a new collection of songs this week on an album titled Get It Right. She blends the lovely sound of her voice with the mellow chords of a baritone ukulele, and writes songs about everything from love, anxiety, dementia … and … boogers. Yup, that's right. Besides writing beautiful songs about the serious side of life, Lena Elizabeth teaches a ukulele class to children, and she's having them help her write a song about something they can relate to.
Lena stopped in our studio to talk about her new record, which includes a song she wrote for her recent wedding, and to perform a snippet of the aforementioned children's song, which — we can only hope — will be on a future release.
