A little rain on the second day of the Minnesota State Fair didn't dampen the spirits of the audience at Har Mar Superstar's soulful set at the MPR booth at the Fair on Friday, Aug. 24. The four-song set included a brand-new song, "Where We Began," which Har Mar Superstar (aka Sean Tillmann) explains is a composition he and the band recently worked out in El Paso, Texas.

The set also features favorites from Tillmann's back catalogue, including the set-closing "Lady, You Shot Me," which got the audience on their feet dancing and singing along, and saw Har Mar Superstar singing a verse from a bench in the middle of the audience.

Har Mar Superstar will perform at the State Fair's Leinie Lodge Bandshell on Sunday and Monday, Sept. 2 and 3; both shows begin at 8:30 p.m.
