In October 2016, Trampled By Turtles thanked their fans on Twitter and announced they'd be taking "a little break." During that time, TbT's Dave Simonett released the acclaimed Dead Man Winter album, Furnace.

Now, Trampled By Turtles are back with a new song, "Kelly's Bar," the first single from their new album Life Is Good On The Open Road, releasing May 4, 2018.

Trampled By Turtles are also announcing two upcoming shows at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul on May 4 (with The Pines) and May 5 (with Frankie Lee).

Simonett stopped by The Current studio for a chat with Jade just before debuting the new song. Listen to it above.
