This weekend, Brian Oake and Jill Riley are headed to northern Minnesota for the third annual GNDWIRE Records Ski Party at Lutsen Mountains featuring local music and skiing. Listen to The Current on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. for Oake and Riley in the Afternoon, broadcasting live from Papa Charlie's in Lutsen.

Brian and Jill will welcome guests for live on-air chats, including Har Mar Superstar, and Dave Simonett of Dead Man Winter. Plus, they'll also have live performances from Charlie Parr, Roma di Luna and Black-Eyed Snakes.

It's been cold as the dickens throughout Minnesota, so you might as well pull on a sweater, put on boots or even skis — or at the very least, stay warm indoors and embrace the hygge — and join Oake and Riley in person or on the air as they broadcast live from Lutsen Mountains.
