For the last couple years, I have been one of the people who gets to vote for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this year, we thought we'd let you in on the process and kind of show you how it works.

Essentially, there are around a thousand people who receive a ballot in the mail every year in the fall after the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced the nominees. The voting deadline this year is December 8.
