"…it felt like, if I were going to be a professional surfer, I would move to the ocean…"
To Aaron Espe, it seemed like the logical course, to take the big chance and move his wife and guitar to Nashville after years of touring as a solo singer-songwriter. Aaron grew up in Roseau, Minnesota, and after five years or so in Music City, he's finding that it IS possible to make a living there.
Besides six solo albums to his name, Espe's songs are also occasionally placed in network television shows or in advertisements, which can be a good source of income for a songwriter whose first job in Nashville was working at Starbucks.
Espe's latest album is Passages, and after a recent Twin Cities gig, he stopped by to chat and play a few tunes in the Radio Heartland studio.
