This week, The Current is in Iceland for the annual Iceland Airwaves festival, which gathers thousands of music fans to the island nation, to see hundreds of artists perform.
It's also a historic moment for The Current: our first-ever international live broadcast. Join host Mark Wheat on Friday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Central Time), as he broadcasts live from the Götubarinn nightclub in Akureyri, Iceland, where he'll interview artists, host live performances, share cultural insights and more.
