Watch Mammut perform at Iceland Airwaves Music Festival
November 03, 2017
The Current enjoyed a fantastic day of live performances and interviews from the Götubarinn pub in Akureyri, the second city of the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival.
Mark Wheat's guests were 200,000 Naglbítar, Ásgeir, Hildur and the five-person group Mammút. Watch the video above to see Mammút perform their spellbinding a cappella song, "Bye Bye," recorded as it was broadcast live to The Current's listeners.
See the photo gallery below for more from our day at Götubarinn in Akureyri plus highlights from concerts at the Hof Conference and Cultural Center on Thursday night. And be sure to join Mark Wheat on Friday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central Time for more from the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival.
