Pioneering guitarist Corki Casey O'Dell has died at age 80. O'Dell came up in the Phoenix rock scene during the 1950s, a time when female guitarists were few and far between. Her most prominent gig was a stint in the Rebels, the band of "Rebel Rouser" hitmaker Duane Eddy. O'Dell and Eddy reunited onstage in 2014, when O'Dell was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame.
