Buildings and landscapes turn purple for Prince

On the night of April 20 into April 21, 2017, locations around the Twin Cities were illuminated in purple in honor of Prince. Paisley Park had encouraged Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as other cities, to join the purple-light commemorations. Many of these locales will reprise the purple illumination the night of Friday, April 21.
Several of the purple places were captured on social media. Here's a roundup:
Paisley Park, Chanhassen, Minn.
First Bank Building, St. Paul
Minneapolis Federal Reserve
Minneapolis, general
