Coffee Break: Flying V
by Anna Reed

Today in 1958, Gibson launched its "Flying V" electric guitar.
You've seen it - it has the futuristic-looking V shape body and powerful sound. A handful of musicians made this guitar famous by adopting it as their primary instrument. Initially, the Flying V didn't sell well and the original line was discontinued by 1959. However, multiple versions came out after that, including the Flying V2, the Reverse Flying V and the V Bass.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that feature the Flying V?
