Plague Vendor stops by The Current studio
September 18, 2016
In June of 2016, Whittier, California's energetic punk quartet Plague Vendor generated serious local buzz with their ferocious opening set at Rock the Garden. Earlier this week, they returned to the Twin Cities for an appearance at the Turf Club, as they tour in support of their sophomore release, BLOODSWEAT.
Before that Thursday show, Plague Vendor stopped by The Current studio to play some tunes. In between songs, they chatted with Sean McPherson about connections between hip-hop and punk, their collaborative beer Ox Blood Ale (with a removable label that plays on any turntable), and the raw sound of their records.
