A statue depicting the late Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead has been unveiled at Kilmister's favorite bar: the Rainbow, in West Hollywood. Kilmister's longtime girlfriend Cheryl Keuleman and Motörhead manager Todd Singerman were among those present for the Wednesday unveiling of the statue by artist Travis Moore. (OC Weekly)
Bruce plays longest American show ever
The Born in the U.S.A. icon has played his longest American show ever. Wednesday night at MetLife Stadium in — of course — New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band held forth for a full three hours and 52 minutes. The Boss's record for longest show overall still belongs to a 2012 four-plus-hour show in Finland. (Billboard)

Madonna made a surprise appearance at a Wednesday night screening of Truth or Dare, a 1991 documentary about her. The screening, at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, celebrated the movie's 25th anniversary. (Billboard)
R.E.M. are reissuing their 1991 smash Out of Time. The 25th anniversary edition, out Nov. 18, will include "unreleased demos, live performances and music videos," reports Rolling Stone.
Hamilton expanding
Hamilton — the Lin-Manuel Miranda musical that's been setting records for just about everything, including most Tony nominations in a single year — is set to expand well beyond Broadway. Aoki to stay cool forever
EDM artist Steve Aoki has announced plans to be cryogenically preserved after his death. "He's betting $220,000 technology can save him from that final good night," notes Billboard, "and in the meantime, he can stay chilly at the Alcor Life Extenstion Foundation headquarters in Arizona."
